Eternal life is God's greatest gift to man. The Plan of Salvation is His way of making it available to them. In order
to received that Gift man must realize that he is a sinner, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans
3:23).
Because he is a sinner, he is condemned to death. "For the wages [payment] of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).
This includes eternal separation from God in Hell. "... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).
But God loved man so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear man’s sin and die in his place.
"... He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us ... that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him"
(2 Corinthians 5:21).
Jesus had to shed His blood and die. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" (Leviticus 17:11).
"... without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]" (Hebrews 9:22).
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
Although we cannot understand how, God said man’s sins were laid upon Jesus and when He died in our place He
became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie.
"God ... now commandeth all men everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30). Repentance is a change of mind that agrees with
God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross. In
Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: "... 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' And they said, 'Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved ....' "
Simply believe that Jesus died on the cross and bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and then on the 3rd
day God resurrected Him. The fact the he was raised from the dead assures us that we can claim everlasting life when we receive
Jesus as Savior. "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on His name" (John 1:12). "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved.
Will you be a whosoever today? Are ready to accept Jesus as Savior? If the answer is Yes just pray the prayer below.
Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call
on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be
Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.
I am now reborn! I am a Christian - a child of Almighty God! I am saved! God You also said in
Your Word, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father
give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13). I believe that and I am asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise God. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as You give me the utterance (Acts
2:4).
Now just begin to praise God for filling you with the Holy Spirit. Speak those words and syllables you receive—not
in your own language, but the language given to you by the Holy Spirit. You have to use your own voice. God will not force
you to speak.
Now you are a Spirit-filled believer. Continue with the blessing God has given you and pray in tongues each day. Welcome
you to the family of God! You'll never be the same!
Important: You need to find
a good Word of God preaching church, and become a part of a church family who will love and care for you as you love and care for them. Saints of God need
to be hooked up with each other . . . It increases our strength in God. It's God's plan for us.
Also, I would like
to take a personal interest in you and help you to become a strong believer. It is not easy at the beginning of a new life
with God. There is a very real devil that will be out to attack and confuse you. But remember that Jesus will never leave
you, and you never have to leave Him. Click on the “I Just Got Saved’ link below and let me know, I will
